About the photo

When I create artwork, I enjoy experimenting with different mediums to bring my ideas to life. Sometimes I start with a pencil or charcoal to sketch out my initial design. Other times, I might use paint, such as watercolors like I did in this piece, "Untitled-Watercolor."

As I work, I pay close attention to the different properties of each medium and how they interact with each other. For example, in this piece I layered the paint to create depth, then used water to dilute the color and create a wash effect.

Throughout the process, I embrace experimentation and let my intuition guide me. I find that working with different mediums keeps my creativity flowing and allows me to explore new techniques and ideas.

In the end, creating art with different mediums is a fulfilling process that challenges me to push my boundaries and explore new avenues of creativity.

""Watercolor is like life. Better get it right the first time - you don't get a second chance!" - Sergei Bongart."

As an autodidactic artist, my creative process does not abide by strict parameters. In fact, the exploration of trial and error is a fundamental component of my artistic methodology. The willingness to experiment with novel techniques, even those beyond my customary boundaries, is a crucial aspect of my artistic practice.
